This fun banner design is super-quick to stitch, and is also re-usable too!

Two sizes included - one design which fits the 5x7 hoop, and one for the 6x10 hoop.

I have also slightly re-sized the 6x10 size down a little so it fits in the Janome square hoop for JEF users.

The banner features a chalkboard fabric applique which allows you write whatever you like on the banner, and then in the future mix and match more (or less) banner pieces to spell out whatever you like over and over again!

Chalkboard fabric (which may also be called chalk cloth or blackboard fabric) is available by the metre/yard from fabric stores. In Australia, Spotlight stores stock it. In the US, I believe Joann stock it. It is also available online from places like Etsy, Amazon and Fabric.com.

Wadding or flannel is sandwiched in between the layers to add some thickness/weight to each piece, and the edges are simply trimmed with pinking shears - super-easy!

Banner pieces can be mixed and matched and re-used over and over again to suit any occasion!

When you are finished using the banner, simply dismantle the banner from the ribbon, erase the letters, stack and pack away for next time!
